- Wolves in Yellowstone National Park
- Wolves maintain the health of the ecosystem by keeping the herbivore population in check
- Wolves ensure that the carrying capacity for the entire community of organisms is sustainable
- Sea Otters in a Kelp Forrest
- Sea Otters maintain the health of the ecosystem by keeping the Sea Urchin population in check
- Left unchecked the Sea Urchins would devastate the Kelp Forrest decimating a once healthy and thriving ecosystem for an entire community of aquatic life
- Wolves in Yellowstone National Park
- The 10% Rule for Energy Exchange via Consumption through a Tropic Pyramid
- Not all energy is transferred from Producer to Primary Consumer and from Primary Consumer to Secondary Consumer and from Secondary Consumer to Tertiary Consumer.... as the organism being consumer needs energy itself to perform basic life functions
- Food Chains Vs Food Webs (Be able to draw BOTH and Remember which way the arrows MUST go)
- Keystone Species
- Abiotic Vs Biotic

- Friday
- Finalize Nitrogen Cycle Lab and begin discussing Aquatic Ecosystem Fitness.
- The Carbon Cycle will be pushed back a week in order to allow for us to prepare next week for our trip to the pond as the combination of potential for inclement weather and the uncertainty surrounding whether or not we may have to go to remote learning for a period of time has begun to jeopardize our window of opportunity to conduct our field research.
